Matthew’s journey began in Marion, Illinois, surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest, where time spent exploring nature sparked a lifelong fascination with light, movement, and natural beauty. After studying under master glassblowers and earning his BFA, Matthew moved to Florida to immerse himself in a vibrant glass community and bring his vision to life.

Molsten Coast is inspired by the coast, the rhythms of nature, and the subtle details that make each moment special. Every piece is crafted to be cherished, not mass-produced, offering an eco-conscious alternative to disposable or plastic alternatives. From hand-blown glass flowers to functional glassware and decorative accents, each creation is a reflection of care, artistry, and timeless design.
